About
This track investigates the relationship between architecture and the environment, with a particular focus on the sustainable use of resources and the interaction between the built and natural contexts. Adopting a multidisciplinary and systemic approach, it positions architectural design in direct dialogue with urgent global challenges such as climate change, ecological transition, and the principles of the circular economy. Emphasis is placed on sustainability, eco-compatibility, and environmental integration within design processes, aiming to equip students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills across multiple scales - from design to analysis, evaluation, and impact management. Core topics include the sustainability of urban and territorial systems, techniques and technologies for minimizing the ecological footprint of interventions, and the adaptive reuse of existing buildings.
